Legal Services
I provide legal advice and represent clients in civil, family, employment and commercial law matters, both in litigation and non-contentious proceedings, as well as in out-of-court dispute resolution. I assist clients in property disputes, compensation for damages, debt recovery, protection of personality rights, divorces, matrimonial property settlements, parental rights and responsibilities relating to minor children, including child maintenance, neighbourhood disputes, tenancy disputes, unlawful termination of employment, the drafting and review of contracts, and other legal matters arising in everyday life and business.
I particularly specialize in international law, human rights protection and legal relationships involving a cross-border element. I provide legal assistance in the fields of public and private international law, international criminal law, immigration and foreign nationals law, including visa matters, temporary and permanent residence permits, residence for employment, study and business purposes, family reunification, assistance at the foreign police, citizenship matters, relocation to Slovakia and the legal status of foreign nationals in Slovakia. I assist clients in international business relations, transactions and disputes, cross-border family disputes, international child abduction cases, the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments and other legal issues extending beyond the borders of the Slovak Republic. I also represent clients before international and supranational bodies, including the European Court of Human Rights and other international human rights protection mechanisms.
Booking a Consultation
Consultations are available by prior appointment only and may take place either in person or online.
To arrange a consultation, I recommend contacting me primarily by e-mail and briefly describing the legal matter concerned. Initial contact by e-mail allows for a preliminary assessment of the matter and makes it possible to agree on the most suitable form of consultation and the appropriate course of action.
Consultations may be held in Bratislava, Senec, online, or, by prior agreement, at the client's premises.
Fees
A legal consultation without the provision of legal representation is charged at a rate of EUR 60 for each commenced hour.
Where legal representation is undertaken, fees are determined either in accordance with the Decree of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic on Fees and Reimbursement of Attorneys for the Provision of Legal Services (Attorney Tariff) or on the basis of an individual agreement with the client.
